Wednesday 12th February - walks *** – Martlesham woods and the Ferry – gloomy with light winds :(.

The gloom continues but on a positive note no rain today, as Mag has a back exercise class at 1.30 we decide to pack a picnic and head out early but not before I do my exercises. We stop at Katie’s Plants in Newbourne to pick up a cherry tree for our front garden before stopping at Martlesham Tesco to fill up with diesal as we are running on fumes before parking up opposite the community centre for a walk in the woods. We have a lovely quiet stroll in a variety of woods including hazel and pines spotting loads of lovely moss and squirrels:) We reached the Newbourne Road with Martlesham church just across the fields. We return to the van for lunch before heading back to Felixstowe to drop Mag at the hospital before I drove down to Felixstowe Ferry for a quick walk around the boatyard.
